wow… I’m actually doing this o.o
After falling miserably behind over the past two weeks, I wrote 8000 words yesterday and combined with nearly 2000 today, got myself back on track, and even ahead of where I need to be. This is exciting, I’ve never made it past the first few days, so it was a huge achievement to even reach 10000 words. But now that 50000 word goal is actually within sight.
Daily progress stuff started working, but I never updated by previous posts, it’s available here for anyone who cares.
Any other NaNoWriMo people get the feeling that everyone else will be very much relieved when November is over and you stop talking about your novel? >.>

Since GermanShepherd and Novah are both doing well, I might as well make mention that so far I am keeping up with the daily quotas.
Surprising, especially for someone who started off with no storyline, and who still has no actual plot sequence beyond a few small ideas. Descriptive writing tends to be good at increasing word count, and when stuck for ideas, peer review (thanks vaaht!) is great.
Slightly ahead of schedule now with 5209 words. :D
Doing this crazy thing again, hoping to do better than last year and make it past the first page, and then hopefully past the first chapter.
I’ll try to keep interested people up-to-date, but my interest could very easily die unexpected.
EDIT: Apparently some of the word count widgets are broken, so I’m replacing them with a functional one.
