DirectX: Part VI

Today in the programming class, we worked on finishing accurate collision detection and then started the actual game project. The game is a simple DirectX “Asteroids” game, in which you control a spaceship and shoot bullets at asteroids to destroy them.

We imported the spaceship model, set up the laser bullets, and started controlling the ship. So far we can rotate it, and tomorrow we get to start moving it and importing the planet and the asteroids.

Not much else has been happening here, I’ve been mainly working on my client. I’ve got the treeview highlighting usernames properly, I just need to get the text going up, rather than down, and get the regex filter working.
